Thank you for choosing LongMeadow Chesapeakes. Our policy is to try to work with our puppy clients to find the best possible puppy for their needs. It is important that you feel confident in us, as we hope this will be a relationship we will have for the next twelve to fourteen years! (the life of your LongMeadow Chesapeake).

Puppy Deposits & Payment
We require a $200 deposit to hold your reservation for a puppy. The deposit is fully refundable up until the time the puppies are born. We then contact you to confirm your puppy purchase. After we receive conformation of your purchase, your deposit becomes non refundable unless we are unable to provide you with a suitable puppy. The balance of the purchase price will be due the day you pick up your puppy. For puppies traveling by air, payment is required prior to shipment.
Puppy Shipping
We will ship puppies world wide using most major airlines. The additional charges for domestic shipments normally run from $200 to $400. The additional charges include Airline Shipping Fees, a Veterinary Health Exam to issue a Health Certificate; Airline approved crate and transportation to the airport. Please inquire for International shipments.
We require puppies to travel on NON STOP flights ONLY. This may mean extra expense and drive time but it is the safest way to ship your puppy.
We use the following airports:
BWI ~ Baltimore Washington International
PHL ~ Philadelphia International Airport
HAR ~ Harrisburg International Airport
IAD ~ Washington Dulles International Airport
DCA ~ Regan District of Columbia Airport
Airport Delivery
We can deliver your puppy to one of our local airports. This way, the puppy can travel home with you, on board the plane in the cabin under your seat. Most airlines charge $80 to $100 for taking a pet on board as an extra carry on. Please inquire about our additional charge for this service.
Door-to-Door Delivery Services
Some of our clients prefer us to deliver their puppies and will be happy to do so at an additional charge ~ Please inquire as prices vary per situation.
Other Services
We have two local airports that will accommodate private Jets- Lancaster & Harrisburg Airports. You can pick up your pup at either airport and/or we will be happy to arrange for you to meet our Chesapeakes.
